Swiss regtech company Indigita SA has launched a new e-Learning course on cryptocurrencies and tokens for banking executives, relationship managers and compliance officers. The new e-Learning covers the main concepts and definitions of digital assets and provides an overview of the regulatory framework.
The new online course provides a comprehensive introduction to digital assets and how they work from an operational and banking compliance perspective, including regulatory aspects, tax compliance and liabilities for financial institutions.
The course is divided into two parts, consisting of a total of eight chapters, and starts by addressing the concept of the Blockchain technology, continues with an introduction to the various types of digital assets, and moves on to describe the definition and types of wallets.
The second part focuses mainly on the regulatory framework applicable, with a focus on Switzerland and reviews the different legislation and guidelines on digital assets. It introduces participants to the regulatory aspects of digital assets when it comes to money laundering activities, protection of investors and/or tax treatment.
The course also contains two intermediary quizzes - to assess the comprehension of the different chapters - and ends with practical cases to evaluate the behaviour of a banker interacting with prospects active in the field of digital assets.
The new online course complements Indigita’s extensive e-Learning solutions portfolio, is approximately 45 minutes long and is available in English as of now.
