The new training offers a comprehensive understanding on the fundamental concepts pertaining to the placement of financial product by distributors, in accordance with the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive 2014/65/EU “MiFID II”. The training has been developed in collaboration with BRP Bizzozero & Partners SA and is recognised by the SAQ Swiss Association for Quality.
This new e-Learning course addresses the challenges the financial industry faces with MiFID II and provides guidance on how to navigate the requirements to place financial products within the European Union (EU) while remaining compliant. The training is structured in five comprehensive chapters:
Regulatory Framework: Reminds of the regulation's aim and objectives.
Core Definition: Summarizes key definitions related to financial product placement and analyzes the distribution rules and principles of the Key Information Document (KID).
Offering Scenarios: Covers several criteria influencing the application of these rules and whether financial products may be distributed, sold, executed, or marketed to relevant investors in the EEA.
Products Marketing: Ensures that the marketing of financial products aligns with the regulations in the targeted country and respects local laws and regulations.
Product Documentation: Concludes by analyzing the documentation PRIIPs KID relevant to: UCITS, AIFs and structured products.
Indigita’s new e-Learning course is designed for financial professionals seeking to enhance their understanding of MiFID II, ensuring compliance in the distribution and marketing of financial products within the EEA region. This course combines theoretical knowledge with practical scenarios to help participants navigate the complexities of the regulatory landscape effectively.
The e-Learning is SAQ certified and takes approximately 30 minutes to complete. It concludes with a final assessment to validate participants' learning progress. Upon completion, participants will receive a certificate.
